According to Greek mythology, Medusa was once a beautiful and irresistible mortal. However, her beauty captivated Poseidon and the myth describes him attacking Medusa and violating her trust. Enraged with jealousy, Athena transformed Medusa's beautiful hair into serpents and declared that anyone who locked eyes with her, would turn to stone. Perseus was sent to slay and behead Medusa to end her life, and upon her death, Pegasus emerged from her body. To this day, Medusa's powerful spirit still lives on in the stories passed down from generation to generation. My intention for this pendant is to symbolize
Snakes have always played a fundamental role in mythology and literature. Throughout time, these mystical creatures have come to symbolize fertility, creative life force, rebirth, transformation, and healing. Those that wear the Medusas say that they can feel the energy they hold and that they feel more powerful when they put them on! I created this design to ignite that fierce and unstoppable fire inside of us.

All clay items that are made-to-order: This means that everything is made by hand and assembled once your order is placed! Because of this, please allow up to 5 business days (Monday - Friday) for handmade production, before items are shipped off with tracking.
***Please note: Any orders placed after 12 pm Friday, will not be produced/shipped until the following next business day(s). For example, an order placed on a Saturday will not begin being produced until Monday. It takes between 1-3 days to make your order by hand, depending on production schedule. Once this is made and completed, then your item will be shipped based on your preferred method of shipping.***
